Iowa Public Radio’s “River to River” at noon and 10 p.m. today will include a discussion of this week’s “funnel” at the Iowa Legislature. Generally, bills need to clear a committee in either the Senate or the House of Representatives by the end of this week to stay alive in the session. There are exceptions for appropriations bills. By March 11, the bills will have to have cleared committees in both chambers to remain under consideration.
