ISU eyes land purchase for research park expansion
A Board of Regents committee next month will consider Iowa State University’s request to buy 68 acres immediately south of the Iowa State University Research Park for $2.2 million. The land is owned by Erben and Margaret Hunziker Apartments LLC. The land would be used for a planned addition to the research park and for College of Agriculture and Life Sciences operations in agriculture, state records show. The 68 acres are part of a larger 78-acre deal with the Hunzikers.
