One of the three scheduled finalists for the Iowa State University presidential search has elected to withdraw from the process. Two finalists are scheduled for on-campus visits to ISU next week, on Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 6. In addition to meetings throughout the day with faculty, staff, students and other stakeholders, both finalists will hold a public forum from 4-5 p.m. at the Memorial Union. Live video streaming of each open forum will be available on the Iowa Board of Regents website. Each finalist’s name will be announced publicly 24 hours prior to their campus visit. Following the campus visits, the Board of Regents will meet in closed session Nov. 11 at Iowa State University to hear from the co-chairs of the search committee, interview the finalists, and select a new president. The public introduction of the new president is tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. in ISU’s Memorial Union.
