The contribution, announced Dec. 2 in connection with Giving Tuesday, is part of the company’s $100,000 commitment to regional food banks across its service area. The contribution is part of ITC Midwest’s Greater Giving Program, which funds organizations providing essential services in local communities. “We recognize family budgets are tight right now and appreciate the ongoing local efforts by food banks to address food insecurity,” ITC Midwest President Dusky Terry said in a prepared statement. “Our commitment to serving communities extends beyond providing safe and reliable electric transmission service. We care about the communities we serve and are acting today to help support individuals and families to help lighten their load at a critical time.”
