78 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and CultureBy the time you get this, backers of the Lauridsen Skatepark project will have officially broken ground on the project and released the final layout of what they are calling an Olympic-caliber facility. Plans call for a $3.5 million, 65,000-square-foot version that has been laid out by California Skateparks. The park would feature a 300-foot downhill snake run, and various bowls and pools designed to please everyone from tournament competitors to novices. Admission would be free. Read more here.
