Jury awards former Des Moines arborist nearly $650,000

Allyn Roberts, a former city arborist, sought accommodations to no longer do above-ground tasks such as climbing and using a bucket truck after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a brain disorder that can prompt shaking, stiffness and issues with balance that worsen over time, according to the National Institutes of Health.
