299 wordsAll Latest News, Data & Security, Key Leadership ChangesSid Juwarker, who joined the Greater Des Moines Partnership in May 2024 as vice president of economic development, has left the role for a new position with his former employer Terracon. Juwarker previously worked for Terracon for nearly nine years as a client development manager. In his new role, which began in September, he is a national account manager for Terracon’s national digital infrastructure sector. Juwarker has also worked as an entrepreneur as the founder and former owner of Teehee’s Comedy Club, an adjunct instructor in environmental science at Drake University and a past board president of the Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful for Sid’s leadership and the many contributions he made during his time at the Partnership, from advancing major projects to strengthening relationships that benefit our region,” Stacie LoVan, senior vice president of economic development at the Partnership,” said in a statement to the Business Record. “We are excited about his opportunity to return to Terracon in a new role and look forward to continuing to collaborate with him in this next chapter.” Juwarker was in his role at the Partnership for about a year and a half. “I’m grateful for my time at the Partnership and the opportunity to work on projects that truly matter to Greater Des Moines and Iowa,” he said in an email. “This role at Terracon brings together my background in environmental engineering, construction and economic development to solve real, complex problems for data center projects across the country. At its best, that problem-solving helps communities make informed decisions, reduces risk and leads to projects that are built responsibly. It’s a national role, but one that also creates local value by connecting communities and project teams with Terracon’s depth of technical expertise during site selection and delivery.”
