Urbandale-based Laser Resources Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Freaky Fresh Marketing, a Johnston-based marketing firm that has been serving customers throughout Iowa since 2012. Freaky Fresh Marketing provides customized marketing services and local expertise, including targeted online marketing campaigns, video production, email marketing and design services. The agreement “leverages Laser Resources’ reputation for providing industry-leading printing and mailing solutions with Freaky Fresh Marketing’s local marketing expertise to deliver an unprecedented suite of products and services to Iowa businesses,” the companies said in a release. The merger expands a locally owned family business; Laser Resources is owned by Bob and Andy Lashier, and Freaky Fresh Marketing is co-owned by Thomas Lashier, who is Bob’s son and Andy’s cousin.
