Shane Greenleaf has been named CEO of Luana Savings Bank and Sarah Schultz Freilinger has been named president of the bank, the financial institution’s board announced. Greenleaf, a Sioux City native, joined Luana Savings Bank in 2024 as the bank’s executive vice president and a member of its board of directors. Greenleaf has over 25 years of banking and financial services experience, according to a news release. His office will be in the bank’s Clive branch. Freilinger, who began working at Luana in 2013, has led or contributed to several areas of the bank including administration, human resources, marketing and community involvement. She is a third-generation member of the bank’s local, family-ownership group. Freilinger’s will be at the bank’s headquarters in Luana, Iowa. The bank was founded in 1908 and has six Iowa locations and 100 employees.
