MacArthur Co., an employee‑owned distributor of commercial building products, has established a new location in the Marion Enterprise Center, purchasing the former Twenty40 Building Concepts facility at 6455 Partners Ave. The St. Paul‑based company, founded in 1913 and operating more than 40 U.S. locations, will relocate about 20 employees from its current site near the Eastern Iowa Airport into a 40,000‑square‑foot warehouse and office space. The move, expected to be complete by January 2026, gives MacArthur an owned facility to expand distribution capacity and strengthen service to contractors across eastern Iowa. “Marion is a growing market in a location that aligns well with our regional operations,” Mike Peterson, regional manager at MacArthur, said in a prepared statement. “Our lease at our former site was coming to an end, and this opportunity provided the right long-term fit. With a new branch recently opened in the Quad Cities, establishing this location in Marion gives us the right geographic coverage to serve our customers effectively.”
