Mason City Globe Gazette: The Manufacturing Institute honored Emily Schmitt with its Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Award, recognizing “women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of the manufacturing industry.” Schmitt is the general counsel at Sheffield-based Sukup Manufacturing Co.
