MidWestOne Bank Foundation announces final grant round ahead of merger

The grant round will be the foundation’s final grant cycle before it sunsets following the merger of Iowa City-based MidWestOne Financial Group Inc., the parent company of MidWestOne Bank, and Nicolet Bankshares Inc., which is expected to close Friday. After the merger, MidWestOne Bank’s philanthropic efforts will take place through the Nicolet National Foundation. The grants will prioritize initiatives focused on long-term community impact and innovation. The MidWestOne Bank Foundation has distributed over $3 million in grants supporting community development, arts, education and youth programs since its founding in 2001.
