Gary Douglas has been named president of Nationwide Agribusiness and Brett Harman will replace him as regional vice president of Allied Insurance’s Central States Regional office.



The two Des Moines-based companies are part of Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Co.



Douglas began his career at Nationwide in 1997 and also has served as the company’s regional vice president for New York.



Harman’s new responsibilities will include Allied operations in Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
