The Iowa Assessment of Skills and Knowledge platform – called iAsk – was developed by the Coralville-based Foundations in Learning specifically for grades 6, 7 and 8, where two-thirds of students are not proficient readers despite programs focusing on young children in kindergarten through third grade.
