Newton company ranks among top 50 promotional products distributors
The Vernon Co., a promotional products distributor based in Newton, was ranked No. 19 on Promo Marketing magazine’s Top 50 Distributors list for 2018. The company was also at No. 19 in the previous year’s list. The top 50 distributors totaled $5.033 billion in promotional products sales in 2017, up by more than $500 million from last year’s list total of $4.476 billion. The Midwest accounted for 42 percent of all top 50 distributors, with 21 distributors in seven states. Vernon was the only Iowa-based distributor on the list.
