Nominations are due April 1 for this year’s inductees to the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame and Christine Wilson Medal for Equality and Justice. The Hall of Fame honor is designed to recognize Iowa women leaders who contribute their talents and skills to improve the state’s quality of life. To provide visible examples for tomorrow’s female leaders, the Iowa Commission on the Status of Women established the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame in 1975. The Christine Wilson Medal recognizes the contributions of Iowa women as well as the impact both men and women have made in improving the status of Iowa women.
