Carissa Williams has been hired as Norwalk’s parks and recreation director. For the past nine years, Williams has worked at the Urbandale Senior Recreation Center, providing recreational opportunities for people 55 and over. Williams also has experience in aquatics, facility operations, future planning and grant management. Williams, who has started her new position with Norwalk, will be paid $130,240 annually.
