Norwalk welcomes business delegation from the Balkans
Doni Fruits, the largest whole foods production company in the Balkans, will visit Norwalk today to meet with city officials and local produce companies such as Loffredo Fresh Produce, Capital City Fruit and Middlebrook Farm to discuss business opportunities. “We are thrilled to host another fantastic delegation from our partner nation of Kosovo,” Hollie Zajicek, Norwalk’s economic development director, said in a press release. “Norwalk has an official sister-city designation with Vushtrri, Kosovo, and we enjoy participating in economic development initiatives between Iowa and the republic of Kosovo.” Doni Fruits, a wholesaler and retailer of fruits, vegetables and dry fruits, already has a reach that extends to 30 countries across the globe. “As a company committed to continuing its growth within the industry, we aim to establish connections with industry experts, agricultural organizations and potential partners in the USA,” Ejup Ahmeti, president and CEO of Doni Fruits, said in a prepared statement.
