NOTABLE TRANSACTIONS: Kwik Trip buys 2.5 acres near interstate in Waukee

Kwik Trip Inc., has acquired an undeveloped 2.5-acre parcel in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The convenience store company, headquartered in La Crosse, Wis., paid Armadura Legal Inc. $1.9 million for property at 3215 Sixth St. in Waukee, records show. The parcel is located north of Interstate Highway 80 near the Ute Avenue exit. The parcel is northwest of a Maverik convenience store. The transaction was recorded Feb. 13.

Pioneer Assets LLC, located in Urbandale, paid Kwality Custom Homes LLC $1.6 million for six residential parcels in Waterford Way Townhomes Plat 1 in Urbandale, records show. The lots include two-story townhomes where construction was completed in 2025. The transaction was recorded Feb. 11.

Charles and Therese Schany paid Genesis Homes Inc. just over $2 million for property at 4640 176th Court in Urbandale records show. The property includes a 3,211-square-foot ranch-style house whose construction was recently completed. The transaction was recorded Feb. 10.

DR Horton Iowa LLC, located in Ankeny, paid JJR Holdings LLC $1.2 million for 16 residential building lots in Autumn Valley West Plat 1 in Waukee, records show. The lots are in southwest Waukee. The transaction was recorded Feb. 9.

Polk County

GBI Ankeny LLC, located in Ankeny, paid 317 E. Court LLC $2.5 million for property at 317 E. Court Ave. in Des Moines, Polk County real estate records show. The property includes a 9,771-square-foot building occupied by Fong’s Pizza. It also includes a 6,000-square-foot building occupied by Climb Iowa. The property is valued at $1.7 million. The transaction was recorded Feb. 10.

David and Melissa Rigler paid the Diane Harms Non-GST Marital Trust $1.1 million for property at 4120 Timberwood Drive in West Des Moines, records show. The property includes a 5,219-square-foot house built in 1993. The transaction was recorded Feb. 10.
