The 2 acres include a 12,543-square-foot steel-frame metal building with brick veneer that was constructed in 2006. The building includes office, warehouse and manufacturing space. BDL Properties has an office in Waukee and its directors includes Robert Boesen and Larry Webster, records show. The transaction was recorded on July 21.

Megan C. Bocken paid Joseph and Elizabeth Smith $1.12 million for property at 16105 Maple Drive in Urbandale, records show. The 3,146-square-foot single-family ranch style house was built in 2011 and includes a double oven in the kitchen, two-sided fireplace that opens to the master bedroom and family room with wet bar. The property was valued this year at $987,630, records show. The sale was recorded on July 20.

Veridian Credit Union paid DRA Properties LC $1.36 million for 1.85 acres at 2115 S.W. State St. in Ankeny, Polk County real estate records show. The undeveloped ground, classified as agricultural, was valued this year at $2,360. The transaction was recorded on July 24.
Timbercrest Homes LLC of Grimes paid Transition Properties LLC of Altoona $2.19 million for 21.4 acres south of Northwest 70th Avenue and west of Northwest 100th Street in Johnston, records show. The undeveloped ground was valued this year at $26,970. The transaction was recorded July 21.

EIGH14T KCE IAGrimes LLC of Troy, Mich., paid Heritage 141 II LLC $585,446 for 1.2 acres at 1101 N.E. Gateway Drive in Grimes, records show. EIGH14T Is managed by Reed Fenton, who began 814 CRE LLC in 2014. KinderCare Education LLC is the company’s main tenant, according to an article about Fenton by Crain’s Detroit Business publication. Another entity managed by Fenton recently bought 3.3 acres in West Des Moines. The Grimes property, valued at $2,100, is located between Northeast Gateway Drive and Iowa Highway 141. The transaction was recorded July 21.
