NOTEBOOK – ONE GOOD READ: A newsletter proposal, in six words

I may or may not have cried at 7:34 a.m. today. I cannot confirm nor deny. What I can confirm is that perhaps the cutest proposal of all time happened via a New York Times newsletter. For Thanksgiving, staff members of the Morning, the New York Times’ daily newsletter, invited its readers to submit a six-word poem about what they were grateful for. Among the more than 10,000 submissions was: “Will you marry me, Taylor Hollenkamp?” Yes, a real proposal. And yes, it worked out. So Business Record Daily readers, I’m letting you know that we, too, would welcome a newsletter proposal.
