Many of you have probably caught the music performances on DART buses, and today you can hear Parranderos perform at Central Station.

It’s all part of the “everywhere art” efforts by Bravo Greater Des Moines and others to amp up the quality of life around here for residents and visitors — employees and potential employees — by surprising people with a Sputnik sculpture, a musical instrument tuned to a creek’s water quality data, or a mezzo soprano singing on a bus.

The Parranderos performance will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today, outdoors on the platform at DART’s Central Station, 620 Cherry St.
