Oak Studio Teen Tech Center has received a $10,000 grant from the Athene Charitable Foundation to enhance digital access and technology equity by upgrading equipment and software for student use. Located at Mainframe Studios and operated as a program of Oakridge Neighborhood, the center offers free access to youths ages 13 to 21 and provides tools for exploring areas such as audio production, robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing and graphic design. As part of the Clubhouse Network, Oak Studio also offers mentorship, workshops, and collaborative project opportunities. In 2025, the center served 379 youths across the Des Moines area and supported an additional 18 participants through its nine-month Career Pathways Program and internships.
