UnityPoint Health and One Iowa, a statewide LGBTQ organization, will team up to host an LGBTQ Career Fair on Feb. 4 to provide an avenue for LGBTQ Iowans to meet Des Moines employers and ask questions about job openings, LGBTQ policies and workplace culture. Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services will provide mock interviews for attendees, and Manpower Group will provide resume review services. The full list of 26 employers who will be present is available on Facebook. The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the UnityPoint Health-Des Moines Education & Research Center, and is free and open to the public.
