OneroRx, an integrated pharmacy network serving underserved markets, has completed the acquisition of 14 NuCara Pharmacy and 10 Home Medical Equipment locations in Iowa and Minnesota, expanding its presence to 91 sites across eight Midwest states. OneroRx operates as the largest franchisee of the Medicap Pharmacy brand owned by Cardinal Health. The acquisition makes OneroRx the largest rural-based pharmacy in Iowa, according to a news release. Acquired NuCara locations will be re-branded as Medicap Pharmacy or Medicap Home Medical.
