The monetary donation will assist in the storage and distribution of food resources as the food banks support community food pantries across Iowa. “In keeping with our brand promise to be at the side and on the side of our customers, colleagues and communities, Optimae is donating these funds to the food banks in our service footprint to lessen the burden the delay in SNAP benefits will cause many Iowans, including those we provide services to and those who work with us,” William “Bill” Dodds, chair of the board of directors at Optimae LifeServices, said in a prepared statement. The donation is part of Optimae’s ongoing community support efforts, which also include menstrual health and food drives, free lunches and volunteer meal programs, according to a news release.
