Emily Videtto will become Pella Corp.’s next president and CEO, effective July 1, succeeding Tim Yaggi following his planned retirement, the company announced Wednesday.
Videtto currently serves as president and chief operating officer of Pella and has spent nearly 10 years in leadership roles at the Pella-based window and door manufacturer. According to a news release, she has played a key role in the company’s growth, product innovation, operational performance and brand development.
Before joining Pella, Videtto held progressive leadership positions at GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, where she became vice president of residential marketing and new product development. She serves on the boards of American Woodmark and the Window and Door Manufacturing Association, including a previous term as chair.
Videtto earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and completed Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development.
“Emily is a visionary leader who has been central to shaping Pella’s growth strategy and operating model,” Adam Farver, chairman of Pella’s board, said in the release. “She brings deep knowledge of the business and industry, proven results, and an unwavering commitment to Pella’s customers, culture and people.”
Videtto helped lead industry-first product launches and expanded distribution channels and operational improvements during her time as chief marketing officer and later COO, the company said.
Yaggi has led Pella since 2016. During his tenure, Pella more than doubled its revenue and quadrupled its profitability while growing its workforce from about 6,000 employees to more than 10,000.
Yaggi said Videtto has been a “trusted partner and driving force behind our growth and operations.”
“After 10 years, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and the team across our family of brands who made it possible,” Yaggi said.
Videtto said she plans to continue building on the company’s growth strategy and culture.
“Our success is grounded in an ambitious growth strategy and a culture of bold caring, and I’m committed to carrying that forward while championing our broader purpose of providing great careers for our team members, exceptional experiences and innovative solutions for our customers and continued investment in the communities Pella serves,” she said.
