The health care facility, operated by Premise Health, will provide primary and preventive care for about 2,500 Pella-area employees, as well as their spouses and children. It represents the company’s largest concentration of employees at a single location. The wellness center uses a team-based care model including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, licensed mental health specialists and health coaches to support whole-person health. In addition to primary care and pediatrics, services include behavioral health support, care management and navigation, an on-site pharmacy, and 24/7 virtual care. According to a news release, the facility is part of Pella’s broader health and wellness strategy, which aims to improve population health, enhance the employee care experience and support long-term financial sustainability. “Our legacy has always been shaped by our people. That’s why we’re going the extra mile to focus on our team members, investing in their long-term health and wellness, so they can continue to grow and support our mission of fostering bold, innovative ideas and creating brighter futures for generations to come,” John Bollman, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Pella Corp., said in a prepared statement.
