Philanthropy Day award winners honored
The winners of the 31st annual Philanthropy Day were honored by the Central Iowa Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals at a luncheon on Nov. 18 at the Des Moines Marriott Hotel. There were award winners in five categories: Outstanding Corporate/Foundation, ITA Group; Outstanding Philanthropists, R.W. & Mary Nelson; Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, Rick Ball; Spirit of Philanthropy, Christopher Maharry; Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, Fez Zafar.
