Poll: 52% of Iowans support state law guaranteeing exemptions to vaccine mandates

Des Moines Register: More than half of Iowans support a new state law saying employers who require COVID-19 vaccinations must allow exemptions for workers who cite religious or medical reasons, the latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll shows. The law, which gives employees wide latitude in opting out of workplace COVID-19 vaccine mandates, draws support from 52% of Iowa adults and opposition from 39%, the new poll shows. Another 8% are unsure.
