Portion of Iowa-owned horse’s Derby winnings pledged to fund for disabled jockeys
Partners in Iowa-based Donegal Racing and owners of Kentucky Derby prospect Dullahan, its trainer and jockey have pledged 5 percent of the horse’s Derby winnings to a fund for disabled jockeys.
Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino will match the the contribution. Horse racing’s signature event is May 5.
