Premier Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its new Ankeny branch beginning at noon Friday at the office at 1430 SW Tradition Drive. The event will begin with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce, followed by a community celebration where guests can meet the Premier team and tour the new full-service branch. The event will include food and drinks, music and prizes from a local radio station, goodie bags for the first 25 guests and the opportunity to enter for a chance to win one of two grand prizes. The Ankeny branch is Premier Credit Union’s sixth location. Premier Credit Union selected Ankeny for its newest location because of the community’s growth, momentum and existing member base. “With thousands of members already living and working in the community, the demand was clear,” said Megan Tjernagel, CEO of Premier Credit Union.
