Rayser Holdings acquires Pella-based Skunk River Block & Pallet
Cedar Rapids-based Rayser Holdings Inc. announced its acquisition of Skunk River Block & Pallet, a family-owned manufacturer of custom wood pallets and crates in Pella. Skunk River Block & Pallet joins CarePro Health Services, J-TEC Associates and Midwest Memorials as part of the Rayser portfolio. Darlene Van Hall, Skunk River’s former owner, said the sale to Rayser Holdings was motivated by a desire to preserve the company’s legacy and reward its employees. Rayser was established in 2018 with a goal to diversify and enhance employee ownership.
