What’s Happening Now
The Recreation Station is now open in Urbandale, an indoor recreational amenity that enhances the community’s appeal for businesses, residents, and families. Recreation Station is a quality-of-life investment giving current and prospective employers, employees, and households another reason to choose Urbandale.
The Recreation Station will grow in phases into a hub for activity, wellness, and connection. The first phase focuses on providing court rentals and flexible recreational opportunities. The facility features a two-court gym and wellness area that will support expanded programming, classes, and community use.
Now available at Recreation Station:
- Court rentals for basketball, indoor soccer, and other gym activities
- Practice space for teams, leagues, and group programming
- A convenient new west-side recreational amenity with strong regional accessibility
Urbandale continues to invest in amenities that support workforce attraction, economic development, and community vitality.

The momentum will continue with facility upgrades and expanded offerings designed to further strengthen Urbandale’s position as a regional destination for recreation and community engagement.
