REG added to S&P SmallCap 600
Ames-based biodiesel and specialty chemical producer Renewable Energy Group joined the S&P SmallCap 600 this week after Synchronoss Technologies Inc. was removed for failing to meet listing requirements. REG was added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Global Industry Classification Standard Oil & Gas Refining & Marketing Sub-Industry index on Tuesday.
