Registration is now open for the 2026 DSM Intern Connection, a free summer professional development program hosted by the Greater Des Moines Partnership to help interns and college students build career networks and explore job opportunities across the region. The series, which drew a record 517 participants in 2025, includes sessions on leadership, career growth and personal development, alongside networking events such as the I-Cubs and Chamber Night Tailgate on June 23. Students who attend at least three of four core sessions will earn a Community Leadership Certificate and an invitation to an exclusive Executive Luncheon. Supported by major regional employers including American Equity, Bankers Trust, EMC Insurance, Hy-Vee, Principal and Wellmark, the series offers free access to all interns and college students in Greater Des Moines.
