Reimans donate $1.7 million to new gardens feature
Longtime Iowa State University donors Roy and Bobbi Reiman have pledged $1.7 million for the Sycamore Falls project at their namesake Reiman Gardens near Jack Trice Stadium. The project, part of a new 20-year master plan, will feature waterfalls on native limestone walls, terraces with multicolored plants and a reflecting pool, and, of course, sycamore trees. The site will host events. Roy graduated from Iowa State in 1957 with a degree in agricultural journalism. Bobbi received an honorary alumna award from Iowa State in 2006.
