SBA backs nearly $10.6M in loans to Central Iowa businesses in September

The 17 loans are expected to create 64 new jobs and retain 75 jobs. Among the top loans by dollar amount in September:
- Central Flyway Manufacturing LLC, an existing manufacturing company in Indianola, for $3,300,000.
- Lakes Early Learning Center LLC, a new health care and social assistance business in Polk City, for $2,447,700.
- Thorntree CPA Services LLC, an existing professional services business in Norwalk, for $850,000.
- The Asylum Inc., an existing services business in Ames, for $740,000.
- Skyview Vineyard and Event Center LLC, a retail business in Indianola, for $730,000.
Statewide, the SBA backed 53 loans for $44,732,200 in September to Iowa businesses from participating lenders using its two largest lending programs.
The SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 21 new and 32 existing businesses that report creating 257 new jobs and retaining 484 jobs as a result.
