The Science Center of Iowa will offer free admission on Monday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the center announced this week. All of SCI’s exhibits and programs will be open, including recent updates to the What on Earth? exhibit and a new planetarium program called Reach for the Stars. SCI will then be closed Jan. 21-24 for maintenance, and will reopen with regular hours Saturday, Jan. 25. Free admission is made possible with support from the Principal Foundation.
