The John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines is a finalist for the American Planning Association’s People’s Choice award in the annual Great Places in America contest. You can vote here through Nov. 7. The winner will be announced Nov. 8. The other finalists are Douglas Avenue in Wichita, Kan., Downtown Golden in Golden, Colo., and Rochester Public Market in Rochester, N.Y.
