Submissions sought for #ThePowerOfGirl initiative
The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union is seeking submissions from the public in an effort to share the stories of high school female athletes from throughout the state. In the vein of #ShareHerStory, the IGHSAU is launching #ThePowerOfGirl and is requesting Iowans submit videos, photos and stories sharing memories and what makes girls’ sports special. Submissions will be compiled into a video that will become the focal point of a social media initiative. Stories can be submitted to the IGHSAU’s Facebook inbox.
