Tenants moving into Jackson Crossing apartments

143 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe first phase of a $40 million multibuilding apartment project along Indianola Avenue is complete and renters began moving in on Thursday. When completed, Jackson Crossing will occupy nearly 5 acres of ground south of Principal Park with three four-story apartment buildings and 244 apartments ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom units. For now, about 80 units are available for rent at prices in the $800-to-$1,500-a-month range in a building located at Jackson and Indianola avenues. The project was launched by Neighborhood Development Corp. and later taken over by Christensen Development. Amenities include free parking, a community room, raised garden plots, individual and community patios, dog and bicycle washing stations, and secure bike parking and storage. The entire project is expected to be completed in the spring. The construction team includes InVision Architecture, Confluence landscape architects, ERG Engineers and Estes Construction.
