Dr. Abigail Thomas of Algona, Dr. Darrian Ward of Emmetsburg and Dr. Kayla Carrothers of New Hampton will each receive up to $200,000 in educational loan repayment in exchange for a five-year commitment to serve high-need communities. The FIND program, led by Delta Dental of Iowa in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and other partners, aims to increase access to dental care for Medicaid patients, older adults and historically underserved populations. Since its start in 2002, the initiative has supported repayment awards for 63 dentists.
