The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1362, voted Wednesday to authorize a strike against Rockwell Collins, the Cedar Rapids Gazette reports.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1362, voted Wednesday to authorize a strike against Rockwell Collins, the Cedar Rapids Gazette reports. Union members voted for the strike authorization by 84 percent. Union representatives filed grievance in mid-July that stated Rockwell had violated union contracts by outsourcing custodial work for Cedar Rapids facilities, which Rockwell said was necessary to cut costs.
