Van Meter Inc. completes purchase of Bright Electrical Supply
Cedar Rapids-based electrical supplier Van Meter Inc. announced today that it has successfully completed its purchase of Bright Electrical Supply, a leading lighting distributor located in Chicago. Intentions to buy the lighting distributor were announced on Dec. 1. Bright employees, including long-time president David Borovsky, are now Van Meter employee-owners. Van Meter’s Chicago location will continue to be known as Bright Electric. The tagline “‘Powered by Van Meter” will be added to the name Bright to denote new ownership.
