Veridian Credit Union announced it has distributed $50,000 in Giving Tuesday donations to five nonprofit organizations across Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota as part of its annual Veridian Gives Back campaign. Selected at random from public nominations, each organization will receive $10,000 for work addressing one of the credit union’s five funding priorities: affordable housing, basic human needs, inclusion, employment readiness and financial literacy. This year’s recipients include Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) in Waterloo, Mission of Hope in Cedar Rapids, Dorothy’s House in Des Moines, Least of My Brethren in Papillion and ICA Food Shelf in Minnetonka.
