Iowa General Fund receipts for July of $15.6 million were 3.8 percent below July 2015 revenue due largely to the last business day of the month falling on a weekend, said Jeff Robinson, a senior fiscal analyst for the Legislative Services Agency, in his monthly video memo. That led to a decrease in sales and use tax revenue that should provide a bump in August receipts.
