VSI wins Pappajohn competition
Ames-based VSI Aerospace won first place and $25,000 in the John Pappajohn Iowa Business Plan Competition. VSI combines software and air pressure sensors to alert pilots of trajectory changes to help with safety and save fuel. M&S Flowmatics, also based in Ames, came in second place and received a $15,000 prize. Iowa City-based Radiology Protocols was in third place and received $10,000.
