Waiting list created for Extend the Season grants
The Greater Des Moines Partnership is working to secure more outdoor heaters as demand under its Extend the Season grant program far exceeded the available supply, the organization announced. The program was designed to help restaurants keep outdoor dining open longer as colder weather sets in by supplying restaurants with outdoor heaters. Because of the shortage, a waiting list has been created. Officials with the Partnership say they are working to secure as many heaters as quickly as possible.
