Work on a 5,000-square-foot warehouse addition to Turkey Time Concessions, 203 S.E. 24th St., could start this spring if plans are approved by the Des Moines Permit and Development Center.

Kevin Smith, owner of the concession-based wholesale business, said the company has outgrown its warehouse and needs to construct a new one.

Smith said Turkey Time employs 100 people and won’t add jobs when the new warehouse is completed.
